They are just used when there is a need for blood samples like complete blood count, lipid profile, glucose tests, etc. while other exams that don’t require it , to name a few of these tests are urinalysis which just need urine samples and fecalysis which involves a minute amount of stools. Deafness is a problem/disease wherein a person is unable to hear in both ears. There are several causes for deafness such as meningitis, excessive use of drugs and too much noise. This also occurs naturally due to old age and sometimes it’s also hereditary. Most of these hearing problems can be treated or even prevented if proper measures are taken at the right time. I still remember when I was a kid I had some hearing problems caused by colds. My nose was clogged and there’s too much pressure in my ears which caused pain in my eardrums. I also experienced a bit of hearing loss and I had sleepless nights because of too much pai. I was then brought to an EENT specialist to have my ears treated. They gave me some eardrops which I think are antibiotics. After a week, everything came back to normal. I just thought that if it wasn’t treated, I might have ended up using open fit digital hearing aids or worse I could’ve ended up being deaf!

My cousin had this intolerable blister on his lips. I didn’t know at first what caused this till the doctor said it is what they call oral herpes or cold sore so was given some oral herpes remedy. I learned that this disease is caused by oral sex. Man o man, my naughty lil’cousin! This will serve as a lesson for you! According to him, at first he tried to manage it by home remedy with over the counter pain reliever but it only lessened the pain but it keeps coming back and the blisters keep on spreading so that’s the time when he went to the doctor for consultation. I myself was curious and made some researches regarding the disease. According to what I’ve read, over the counter topical anesthetics may provide modest relief but hygiene is also very important. There are also herbal remedies for oral herpes but it is still very important to consult a doctor because they know better what to prescribe for the speedy healing of oral herpes.

Being old does not prevent you from being active. An active lifestyle can make you feel young and also keeps you healthy. Exercise will help you be fit and at the same time it is a pastime. For the old ones walking, biking, stretching and balance exercises will do. It is still safe to exercise even if you are 65 years old and above or you have heart problems etc. just do some exercises which you think you can tolerate but it is still better if you consult a doctor for a exercise program for you. When starting up you should first warm up so that your muscles won’t be strained. If during the activity you have chest pain, difficulty of breathing, dizziness, nausea then you should stop and call your doctor.
